i weigh about 180lbs and am 5'5. i am at least 35-40 lbs over-weight. i have 2 kids, i have been between 170 and 180 lbs since having my second child and am really sick of it.... i am ready to shed some pounds fast!!! what are your best tricks to see results and stay motivated???

5 days ago I popped my kneecap out of place (I think) when I was running up a hill. It was almost the worst pain I've ever felt. It was excruciating for about 5 min. and then a little less so. There was a little fluid but not too significant. At first if I just pressed on my patella, it hurt everywhere. I've been taking ibuprofen, aleve, using ice, etc. It doesn't feel better. I saw a dr. who told me basically to suck it up and in a month get a cortisone shot if it doesn't resolve. It hurts to walk and is painful both on the inside and outside of the knee (left). If I press on the inside (lower down), it's pretty painful. When I walk I can feel it kind of catch and can actually hear it crack/pop. It even hurts to sit. Bending down hurts as do stairs (up and down). Am I just being a baby? The day after this happened I almost had to pull over my car and vomit because of the pain. I don't know what's wrong. Help?

More specifically: if I'm a Christian and believe the human Soul lives on after death is there any way to explain this Soul and its after-life in Phenomenology? I undestand from my reading that the Soul is seen by Phen. as a 'moment', hence it cannot exist as a 'piece' - surely this would mean the Soul dies with the body? Hence, the Christian idea of Soul as eternal must be wrong according to this philosophy. Am I right? Yet there are Christians who claim to be Phenomenologists.

my nature is overly emotional,and i know she is going through a hard time, her mom hasn't been heard from in 3 weeks, so i got over emotional and said things to her that may have caused a boundry or confused her. she knows i like her and kinda likes me too. but we both know it's better to just be friends. anyways, how do i apologize or explain myself to her?? I have always believed that dinosaurs existed for a fact. Until I met my girlfriends mother, who cold heartedly doesn't believe that dinosaurs existed, and she thinks its wrong to believe that dinosaurs did exist. Now I believe in God, I personally believe that Jesus is the messiah, but I think dinosaurs existed. If they didnt can anyone please explain the fossils, and the all the oil people are fighting over then. Do you think dinosaurs existed, yes or no. If you dont please explain the oil and the fossils?

I have been w my guy for 3 years. He lives w me in my house. He has no driving licence or car, so I am chauffeur, in particular to take him to pick up his daughter from prev marriage, round trip of 4 hrs to collect on Fri or Sat, then again to take home on Sun, every other weekend. He has debts, too, but money isn't an issue between us. Originally we were going to have kids, now he's changed his mind, and it would be a struggle anyway, as I'd have to keep working as I pay the mortgage etc. (He does work, but pays £400 per month child support and paying off debts, too, plus is no good at managing money, so I would never rely on him for financial stability) I know there are probs in the relationship, and this is worse as my way is to talk, but he refuses to do so. My worry is that I am so emotinally needy that I have made him selfish, and because I don't rely on him on a practical level, he has stopped trying to do anything 4 me. Things were better at first, he made me feel special.
