I was with one guy for about a year. He left me about a month and a half ago. He has been coming around again for the last few weeks trying to get me back. This guy and I got into a LOT of fights. Some got a little physical on both of our parts, but not bad. I was living with him and he had me move all of my things out and leave. I'm pretty sure the main reason was so he could run around and party all of the time, and his apartment became a place where people went every night to drink once I left. After I left, I met another guy who lives near me, but he's in the air force so he is not home very often- maybe once a month, and one entire month out of the summer. He is really sweet, and I'm supposed to see him over christmas. I obviously don't love him bc I've only been out with him a few times, but there is a strong interest there and we clicked really well. I'm afraid of leaving the first guy for good and regretting it.. and I'm also afraid of not giving the new guy a chance.

There was a song, I believe it was made in the 80's since I saw it on VH1, I love the 80's show. It's in German and it's sang by a woman, the german version took off in the USA but the American version didn't. When a newspaper quote's someone occasionally you see that a portion of the quote is put into brackets or parentheses. I thought that maybe this was to add something implied but if that was the case it often seems that the quotaiton wouldn't make sense at all without the bracketed portion. Can someone explain the rules of usage of these brackets?

My 12 y/o Daughter was called into the office by the School Principal. He said that he had heard that her mother had hit her. He then continued questioning her for another 45 minutes. Then had her sign a statement.

Is that legal?

Her mother and I are going through a divorce. The mother has in fact stuck her and that's part of the reason we're divorcing.

Aren't they supposed to notify somebody prior to or at least after questioning?
