I'm taking a trip to london and paris in late december/early january, what kind of clothes should i wear due to the weather?
I don't really hve any idea how the weather is in london and paris in late december/early january. is it REALLY snowy there? should i wear a puffy huge jacket or is a wool peacoat sufficent to keep me warm? should i purchase a pair of rain boots to wear while i'm waling around london and paris casue all i've got are my converses. or are rain boots too much and converses are enough to protect my feet from the weather. is this jacket, http://store.alloy.com/item.do?categoryID=856&itemID=46326&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=# , good enough to keep me warm in london and paris or is it not thick enough? or should it be more big and warm like this: http://store.delias.com/item.do?categoryID=1384&itemID=46313&sizeFilter=&colorFilter=&brandFilter=

even if you are Beyonce's complexion it still makes me wonder (*why did she dye her hair that color*)...
Yes i have seen some cute hairstyles but i think we should leave the blond hair (and weaves) alone...why can't we take pride in our own natural hair textures and colors???

I think more black people should were dreads and other natural styles...is it just me or does anyone else feel awkard when they see a sista walk in for a job with blue or platinum bone straight weave?

I am 26 weeks pregnant and have been having pains in my lower abdomen. I went to the doctor last week and they checked me for contractions and they said it was not labor. My question is...Have any of you ever had Braxton Hicks contractions? What did they feel like? Also since this is my first pregnancy, I am not sure what is normal. Someone told me that pains are normal at this stage because of the muscles stretching. Is this true? Thanks for the help!!

I know with friends that have children that receive about $3000 back in taxes for the year when they file. Do you get more money back being married? My daughter is 16 years old, and you're going to laugh, but I'm seriously worried about her and the way she thinks. She's always been very independent minded and intelligent, but I don't think she's putting those traits to good use. She has no empathy with ANYBODY. When she heard on the news about a man going on a killing spree by running pedestrians over with an SUV, she found that funny. She doesn't see why people cry over hungry children. She steals, lies, and never feels any guilt whatsoever. She actually stole a wallet from a man in a wheelchair! She says the only reason she would never murder anybody is because it's illegal and she doesn't want to go to prison. She is OBSESSED with the movie Natural Born Killers (I found an online blog she was trying to keep from me - saying Mallory and Mickey were the perfect couple.) Also obsessed with Grand Theft Auto and guns...for the "power" they hold. She has never had friends. I tried grounding her, but is it a mental illness??
