From a Democrat:

1st statement. No arguement. ;)

2nd statement - No. Businesses exist for the prosperity for the nation, and must abide by the laws which govern them (they can co-exist). Government provides the framework to give freedom to the individual (no more, no less).

3rd statement - A well-educated citizen can own as many guns as he likes. Nuclear technology in any regime is dangerous (Oh, who sold that technology? see Donald Rumsfeld)

4th statement - No, soccer moms can drive SUVs all they like, just cut down on ALL emissions (It's not hard. We have the technology)

5th statement - No, gender roles are both natural and influenced by society, along with homosexuality.

6th statement - What? That doesn't make sense. You have to do something to earn self-esteem. How do you get it without doing something?

7th statement - What do I care? He can do what he wants. It looks like he spent it on too much beer money though. ;)

8th statement - No, the NRA isn't bad at it's base, but certain individuals (especially politicians) are too self-serving with their association with it. It doesn't do what is was originally founded to do, which is to serve the education and protection of the individual hunter. It's more corporate bull now, which does not serve the individual.
The ACLU serves ALL of the Constitution, especially the first amendment. It does serve the individual, in protection from the majority.

Here endth the lesson.

Are you a good Democrat? NO. I AM A REPUBLICAN.

You have to be against capital punishment, but support abortion on demand. I AM FOR CAPITAL PUNISHMENT AND AGAINST ABORTION.

You have to believe that businesses create oppression and governments create prosperity. BIG BUSINESS CREATES EMPLOYMENT FOR DEMOCRATS THAT WANT TO WORK FOR MINIMUM WAGE. REPUBLICANS WANT TO WORK FOR WAGES 3 & 4 TIMES OVER MINIMUM.

You have to believe that guns in the hands of law-abiding Americans are more of a threat than U.S. nuclear weapons technology in the hands of Iran and North Korea. NUCLEAR WEAPONS VS. HAND GUNS? OBVIOUS TO ME THAT DEMOCRATS CAN'T DISCERN SIZE OR QUANTITY DIFFERENCES.

You have to believe that global temperatures are less affected by cyclical documented changes in the earth's climate and more affected by soccer moms driving SUV's. NOW I KNOW WHO IS DRIVING FORD OUT OF BUSINESS. GOOD MOVE. HOW MANY DEMOCRATS DID YOU PUT ON WELFARE? YOU GOING TO PAY FOR THEM?

You have to believe that gender roles are artificial but being homosexual is natural. HOMOSEXUALITY IS A SIN NOT CONDONED BY GOD. THE PEOPLE ARE SINNERS AND GOD WILL FORGIVE THEM IF THEY ASK.

You have to believe that self-esteem is more important than actually doing something to earn it. SELF-ESTEEM IS VALUABLE WHEN YOU HAVE A WORKING RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. GOD PROMISES US MORE THAN SATAN OR THE DEMOCRATS EVER WILL.

You have to believe that Mel Gibson spent $25 million of his own money to make The Passion of the Christ for financial gain only.
YOU SOUND LIKE A WANNA BE CIA AGENT. ARE YOU THIS NEUROTIC ABOUT EVERYTHING?

You have to believe the NRA is bad because it supports certain parts of the Constitution, while the ACLU is good because it supports certain parts of the Constitution. THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND THE NRA HAS AS MUCH OF A RIGHT TO BE HERE AS YOU DO. THE ACLU IS A COMMUNIST ORGANIZATION FORMED TO BRING DOWN AMERICA. DID NOT REALIZE THAT YOU DEMOCRATS ARE PLAYING WITH THE CZAR, DID YOU?

I once was a good Republican, but then I quit doing drugs, drinking and developed a profound personal relationship with God. Then I became a good Democrat, but you know I didn't believe any of the things that you attribute to Democrats. Now I am a good independent because I know that statements (not questions) like yours are nothing more than demagoguery, and I know that Democrat or Republican if you support the two major (really just one) parties that you are voting to perpetuate the Corporate States of America where your rights are only protected as long as you buy into the consumerist, materialist ideal. If you're not an independent, YOU are a part of the problem, not the solution.

You are correct. Democrats are more hypocritical than Republicans. As far as the response to a previous answer, fox News does not show any ideological ideas. I m an independent. Don't look at the party platform, look at how democrats in the congress vote.

LOL.
I think you've been listening to too much talk radio. Maybe you should base your definition of a Democrat on the Democratic Party's platform, instead?

I'm not a Democrat (I'm a Libertarian), but just to play Devil's Advocate, you should bear in mind that Reagan was a Democrat before he was a Republican, and you should try to remember who sold nukes to Iran, and what sexual orientation the Vice-President's daughter is (is she "un-natural"), and you might want to check what percentage $25M is/was of Mr.Gibson's net worth.

Demacrap gives welfare to poor people and tells them to stay there and we will take care of you, and the kids grow up and get on welfare to,easy living. Say that they was for the war in the beginning and now there saying its there fault. they will raise taxes when they get in office. I hate Bush for getting us in the war, voted Liberal but there is NO third party, even though there is. I do hunt and I do own guns, will they take them away from me...NO. If someone invades my home, I will be safe!!! My parents taught me right from wrong and I take responsibly for my actions, maybe some people should and stop blaming society for there own problems that they created but the demacraps will help them solve there problems

Well, according to your criteria I may be one of the worst democrats to ever walk the earth! That's why it's a good thing I'm a Libertarian!!

No, because I don't believe they really love or care about welfare recipients; just want to enslave them to secure the votes and keep them from getting married and having babies in wedlock and ensure some economic growth via prostitution and drug dealing.

I didn't realize there was such a creature as a "good democrat". I think it's rather telling that the few democrats who attempted to "answer" this question didn't address a single issue you mentioned. Every single one of your points were true, generally speaking. I love it when they can't really argue with the truth!
