Out of curiosity, I completed the online personality test at Scientology.com. Tomorrow Evening I'll be driving over to one of their churches to go over the results.

My instincts are sending me warnings that maybe there is something fishy about this organization. That is, however a complete hunch. Many of my friends are Athiests and they're all prejudicial about any sort of organized religion, even a godless one.

Has anyone ever had a bad experience with the Church of Scientology? I'm easily talked into things and I'd like to keep my guard up.

I have a girlfriend who I was oh so close to breaking up with. Seems we were just not compatible with eachother..She felt we were but it was obvious we were not. I did the dumb thing and continued to sleep with her and she somehow miracuously got pregnant. Now she wants to keep this baby, get married.move in together,buy a house,blah blah blah...Did I mention that i dont love her and wanted break up with her. I am stuck between doing what is right or dumping her and caring for the child separatley..One other problem....I still love my Ex-Wife!!!...help here

Since Christmas is becoming more blatantly pagan each year, and since its real origins have nothing to do with Jesus but worship of the Roman Sol Invictus it may be a good idea to encourage the making of and sending to our friends of'Bah Humbug' cards, so that fair and reasonable people can separate nonsense and blatant commercialism from goodwill with less pressure. Christmas as we know it is little short of a self-induced form of torture on adults and children also. We act like barbarians and send totally absurd messages to the young by us putting up with this farce.

For Christmas to have any meaning it must be separated from all that places demands on us each year on 25th December. Cromwell banned it in English history. But the old paganism re-asserted itself. Pity we couldn't have a calendar without 25th December featuring in it. Sorry, can't write more - must assemble my plastic christmas tree and get a loan for all the presents the kids want.

My mother always made us rub butter or margarine on our bumps and bruises to help them heal - and it really seemed to work! I know of others who do this too - but is it just an old wives tale or is there a reason it would be useful?

I(28) have been a housewife since November of 2005(I was a pediatrictian before I was a housewife) and I think I am doing a great job at it, but I always think there is room for improvement, so if you have any ideas/tips/positive criticism on how I might improve on being a homemaker or better wife please feel free to share :)

Things I do and other info:

-Married my husband(29,Cardiologist) in April. 2001

-Take care of our 4 children (2 boys:18 months and 2 year old, and 2 girls: 2 year old and 6 year old, we adopted all except are youngest)

-Cook Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner (Daily)
-Clean the house(Vacum, Mop, Dust, Iron Clothes, Dishes, Ect.)

-Homeschool all children

-Take children to activites (Ballet class, Gymboree, and Girlscouts)

-Do the Laundry

-Go to church

-Go grocery shopping

-Go to the gym(My husband stays in shape for me, so I feel like I should return the favor and I
