I didn't care about Brad & Jen or The Beckhams or Tom & Kate...

Should we bother to give these people the time of day anymore??? Should we allow them to insinuate themselves into our everyday lives with newspaper stories, gossip magazines, TV news, Reality TV Shows or at times when it is a slow news day on the new channels???

They get paid too much money and expect us "ordinary folk" to simper after them!! Isn't it time to stop???

Being in the Army and away from home so much I get homesick a good bit. Once in S.Korea I was inspecting a car (I'm an MP) and the song "Georgia on My Mind" by Ray Charles came on. Instantly I felt like I had a piece of home with me and now that is the song that I listen to when I am missing home. It just makes me feel better. What song does that for you if any?

We are in Illinois, and I need to know the laws regarding this timeframe. The original lender said they could not refinance us at a more favorable rate, so we shopped and found another which could. We completed the paperwork, and made a written request that the mortgage be released to the new lender, yet the old company is seeming to stall. I understand they don't want to lose the loan, and that every day (minute!) that they hold onto it, they make more money off of us, but it is over a week now. When we call them, they pleasantly tell us they are so sorry, but there is a delay in processing, and they hope it will take place "by the end of today" (for 4 days now). What is the law regarding this, and how do we proceed? I fear they will delay us so long, that our next payment TO THEM will be soon due. Thanks!

i am not sure if i am pregnant or not, i will find out tomarrow but i am gaining wieght in my stomach (not a baby belly,just gaining wieght), i am having cravings, and everyday i am sick to my stomach(especially in the morning). i have heard of syptoms as early as two weeks. Can this be true?
