I didn't care about Brad & Jen or The Beckhams or Tom & Kate...
Should we bother to give these people the time of day anymore??? Should we allow them to insinuate themselves into our everyday lives with newspaper stories, gossip magazines, TV news, Reality TV Shows or at times when it is a slow news day on the new channels???
They get paid too much money and expect us "ordinary folk" to simper after them!! Isn't it time to stop???

Although i agree with you Folorn, I also cant help but think that whilstsoever the papers receive exhorbatent amounts for pics and stories in regards to the celebs, people will always care what happens in the lives of the celebs. Simply because people will always care so much more for a scandal, because it is more than what is going on in their own paltry lives.

It's a great thought...I am so so sick of all of them, if I have to see Angelinas fat lips or katie towering over tom, I think I might lose it. I think my favorite is Paris Hilton, famous for just being famous!!!!!
I hate to admit it but I used to read all the gossip sheets but I overdosed on it, now I just don't care. The unfortunate reality is that you and I may not care about all that but they still have mililions of people who do....

I think you're right, because celebrities are people too and do deserve some privacy. However if you see something in a magazine about your favourite actor or actress, you are definitely going to read it. That's the way it works.

well its like all the reality TV shows....people are fascinated by the lives of others. Especially more extravagent lifestyles like these stars live.. Its not going to stop, people will always be fascinated...not all...but enough to keep the media buzz going

This has been going on since the first silent movie...I don't think it will ever stop.
Do what I do...when you feel yourself being drawn into this, flip a switch and disconnect.....like even being in this category for a start.

I agree with you to the fullest, and it will never stop unless we stop watching their useless behinds. Im only fans of celebrities because of their acting skills and music talent, NOT THEIR DAMN PERSONAL LIFE!!! So it sucks we are overwhelmed with all their nonsense....
