I'm dating this guy that I like a lot. Well we didn't talk or email all weekend, but I sent him an email today, just a short cute one, and my email just said he read it, but he didn't respond! Is this a sign he doesn't like me anymore? Or is he maybe just busy and is going to respond later? Am I overreacting?

He wants to wait 10yrs!?

Ok, so my bf and I have been dating for 4yrs and I have known for 2 of those years that he he wants to wait to get married until he is around 28yrs old, which would put us at 10yrs of dating. I finally asked him why he wanted to wait so long, and he said he wants to save up as much as possible, eventually move out (within the next 3yrs), and save until he can afford or at least put an incredible amount down on a townhouse. Now that seems logical to me, and I love him to death and support him all the way. My question is, why does he want to wait so long to marry me? If your b/f told you the same thing, would you wait for them?

What did you feel when your in laws not proud your child?

I'm married to Korean.We have 1 child but she has microcephaly & cerebral palsy.She is so pretty,sweet & friendly child.Some people said;she looks an angel,she looks so gorgeous and friendly.But my in-laws,they're not proud of her.When we went to the hospital,some patients asked her if she is her grandaughter.She replied "anyo"it means No.I pretend that i didn't heard her answer,i smile but deep inside my heart i felt too pain.Second time,when my in laws visit us here in overseas.She asked me to go shopping with her and my husband.My husband said bring our daughter but my in law said:No,just leave her to our friend.Her face seems not happy if we bring my daughter..I tried to understand my in laws because i know where they came from,they grew up in a country where too much pressure of the society..They are worried if their friends knows that they have disabled grandaughter..Why they worried?if they are true friends they should accept,support and help?Why they feel embarrased..It hurts

How much for a new or rebuilt transmission>?

I have a 1998 Ford Escort and the transmission is going...I have heard this is a sealed unit and computer controlled so it cannot be repaired...DOes anyone have an idea of how much a replacement would be? Or what else possibly could be repaired on a transmission with rough and slipping shifts. The problem is the worst when the car is cold.
