What happens in the human body if proteins are in short supply?

theories, surely those two theories belong equally in the classroom? Why are we so fixated on an 'either, or' approach when we might learn a lot more by putting the two theories in tandem? Since meta-theories have empirical implications, genuine differences between ID and Darwin could be pointed out. It's surely unfair that evolution continues to be used as a major tool for undermining belief in God when quantum physics has finally got around to realising the possibility of a higher mind at back of the universe? With parallel universes now being openly talked about, could this not account for heaven and hell, and spirit mediums' claims of contacting those 'on the other side'? Given that in science even wrong ideas often turn up something interesting (because any theory that gets you into the data is going to turn up something), can we not consider the possibility of intelligent design? Already scientists are driven by a sense of design in the lab - reverse engineering, it's called.

I only have a couple really close girlfriends, and they're girls that I have know a really long time. Most of my friends are guys. When I meet new girls, they are seem SO fake and SO annoying. Like I met this one girl, and turns out she only wanted be friends with me & hang out with me to get to one of my guy friends and sleep with him. Now I dont even talk to her because she got what she wanted. And it's not like we're in high school, we are in our mid-twenties. It's like, girls don't give a crap about bonding & making friendships that could possibly last a lifetime. All they care about is what THEY are gonna get out of it, do whatever will benefit them in the end. I wish I was closer with more girls, but they are all so stupid!!........or maybe it's me?? I don't know. I don't get it. But I Just moved to another state and I want to make some girlfriends down here. What in the heck is going on??

Im 22, Ive been smoking cigarettes since I was 9, daily since 14 and marijuana daily since I was 18. (- my pregnancy and a short time thereafter). I really want to quit but Im addicted and everytime I come close to quitting I freak out and become another person. I want to not be spending all my money on that crap and I dont want to live my life stoned. My daughter deserves more than this. Is there anything you can say, any stories you can share that I can print out and keep with me to look to for inspiration and courage?
