I had a new washing machine installed and unstallers told me I had to disconnect the hot and cold hoses from the pipes as they were not allowed to, so I did this and turned the valves off. They installed the machine and it was ok until I seen steam coming out from the back of it. When I pulled out the washing machine I noticed it used the cold fill pipe only and the stop valve that was on the hot fill had been knocked out of place presumably when the machine had been put back by the installers. This had been causing the leak, which I mopped up. I assumed this was it until my downstairs neighbour came up to tell me there was water running down his wall and through his light fitting in his kitchen.
He asked me to write a letter to the company, claiming it was their fault this happened and that they should have capped the hot valve. They have written back claiming I should have capped the hot valve and they are not liable. Now my neighbour is wanting money from me. Whats my position?

Yesterday, we lost our dog of 12 years, suddenly to lung cancer. (Diagnosed on Tues. passed on Friday). Our cat has literally grown up with the dog in the house and were the best of friends.

Now I'm worried she's suffering with grief and depression. I've looked it up and she's shown signs of the grieving process (anxiety, depression, and being overly needy and friendly for her "norm")

I've tried to keep her routine as normal as possible and have been trying to give her as much love and attention as I can seeing as how I'm grieving, too.

She's eating and drinking still, but I'm so worried she's going to grieve herself to death.

So, my question is this. What are some ways to try to make this easier for her? (Other than getting a new dog/cat, I'm just not emotionally ready for that)

I have been married for almost an year ...but my s''life is nearly dead..its b,coz he is never interested..a few months back he told me that he was in love with a girl but couldnt marry her b,coz of his parentsbut he,s over her and says he is happy wid me then what cud be the reason for aman to behave like this knowing that his wife is very romanticand he doesn,t seem to be doing anything about it..i cant have a kid with him unless i am sure he has accepted me in every way..i am 26 and he is 31..i hav tried talking to him but all in vain..the interesting part is that he wants a baby next year just to complete his family..in my view dat child wud be a symbol of his compromise and not of his love for me..i am new to his country whichis y i feel dat i shud stand on my own feet first rather than having a child wid such a husband..am i right
