I need to know for a debate in history if it was a comfortable ride in a world war one tank.

I can imagine not - WW1 was the time when tanks were the newest invention in the war so they pretty much stuck some guns and an engine on an iron box and sent it crawling across France. No frills, just guns

A tank is not padded for the most part, no suspension that is worth thinking about, very rough, no windows, very hot or cold depending on the time of year. Very bad gas mileage, they wore helmets in tanks due to the bumping around in them.

No! They were very uncomfortable. The engine, transmission, etc. were right in there with you. Also, it had no suspension so it was rough riding like a bulldozer. See pictures at link:

i doubt it was built for comfort. AC is a vent. Shocks what are those. they were built for war not as luxury vehicles. the seats were small and hard. see the pics>>>>
