Sorry if you have read this question but when i posted yahoo was acting up. So if you did read I am sorry for the repost. I am looking for serious answer as this is serious question.

Why did Joseph Smith after receiving s message from God not do as God asked, but instead he went back to looking for treasures with his father? Dr. D. Michael Quinn notes this fact in a book called Early Mornmonism and the Magic World View. That Dr. Quinn was a former Mormon Historian. Even his own mother wrote that he did these things and she stated that her son said he possessed powers in helping him in these searches.
So for three years after Joseph Smith got the heavenly vision he kept up his treasure seeking with peep stones. He ignored God for 3 years. Don't sound much like a prophet to me. I state all this to see what you mormons say as to what is fact. I am not here to run you down, but run down a man who claims to be a prophet. of God.

I have always wonderd about my birthmarks. Some are deliberate triangles, others, some I reconize in star formations. I even have an upsidedown cross. All just birthmarks, but so perfect in design it's almost like I put them there myself.
