the question was can we stop all this fussing about what kerry said and talk about the real issues , i went on to say although what he said was worng it is not a reflection of the mindset of the entire democratic party, just as foley is not representitive of the sexual habbits of all republicans

Was it as legitimate as this non-question?

Ah. Well, as far as Kerry goes, I think the point is that many people, this Libertarian and many service personnel I know included, believe that his remarks as reported before the spin and excuses do reflect not only what he believes, but what Liberals believe also. Perhaps it isn't so, but hearing is evidence, spin is not.

Foley I think is another example of spin. When his emails became known, he was cast aside. No one defended him. No one encouraged him not to resign. There's nothing for anyone else to defend, but the behavior does stand in stark contrast to Democrat behavior under similar circumstances with Gerry Studds (deceased) who had actual contact with a male page, and was treated like a hero by his party for refusing to accept censure, let alone resign.

But back to THIS question... no, they shouldn't have deleted your question just because it was biased. You're entitled to your own fantasies and call them opinion if you like.

Yahoo! Answers is NOT the US government. YA does not have to be fair or impartial. YA does not have an obligation to protect your freedoms.
YA decides what a "perfectly legit" question is, and whether it wants your question to take up space on its computers.
Get over it. You want to fight them? Build a company to compete with them.
Welcome to America. We're glad you're here. Now read the Constitution.

I have been kicked off before solely for my political views. I have a different account and I am being obnoxious and using profanity but I have toned down the political rhetoric. I am curious to see how long I last.

Who can guess. Extremists on either right or left tend to be unwilling to see their beliefs challenged. There is as much chance of being bumped by McCarthy as Stalin.

While I don't agree with violating someone simply because one disagrees, I hardly think your "rights" have been violated.

Your participation on YA is completely voluntary.
