Here's my opinion on rape and murder.

Murder is the worst thing you can do. Rape can be like murder, but there's always the chance of recovery. Murder is murder.

HOWEVER, a person who rapes or molests is just as bad as a murderer, unless in the very rare case that they only did it for a short period of time and then changed their ways. People who kill can actually be reformed better than people who rape. Many people who kill would not do it again.

I've never been raped, but I do suffer from severe mental problems, and if the pain of rape is anything like what I suffer, I think that the pedophile or serial rapist is as bad as a person who kills several people.

Another thing - I think kidnapping and ANY form of child abuse is also in the league of these sort of crimes. Drug trafficking too.

i'm a senior in high school and my top choice is MIT. i go to a small town school, i took the most challenging classes offered, 3 AP classes, but my GPA isn't that great, around 3.77. i was the president of debate club and model UN team, and i was officers in a bunch other activities. i volunteered a lot, i'm actually a UN Youth Ambassador (some people say it's gonna help a lot but others say it won't). i got 2000 on my SAT, and about 700 for each SAT II tests. my essays are ok, teachers' recommendations are pretty good. i'm bilingual, i play the piano, i play sports. but i'm really worried about my GPA and SAT scores. a lot of people especially my parents think i won't get in because my grades aren't good enough. what are my chances? someone with experience please help!!!!

Kitty names?
I know this will sound wierd. I have 2 female cats, black and white (shown in my display pic). I have had them for about 5 months. I tried to name them. Any other pet I had named itself by personality. These won't. I can't name them something that doesn't suit them. Maybe I'm trying too hard. Or maybe a few suggestions would help. Thanks.

My daughter went thru a stomach thing the other day. There was a little vomiting, and some diarhea. When she went to flush, she noticed that her stool was white. I have never seen white stool in my entire life, but I think I remember hearing somewhere that it was a sign of something not too good. She's all better now, and I scheduled an appointment with her pediatrican asap. Is there anyone out there who has heard about this?

When 7th period came we had to see a stupid play about drugs. It so happened that I sat next to the girl I had liked since the first day of 6th grade. Now in the middle of 8th grade, I was sitting next to her feeling a little nervous. During the play I came to realize that her shoulder was leaning against mine. Throughout the play our shoulders kept leaning on each other, and while I was certainly noticing it I am not sure she did. She sometimes would move away after a while, but then come back to the position. Sometimes our legs would also touch but then move apart again. Also with this, she was the one who nearly every time put her shoulder on mine. A couple of times our shoulders clashed a little hard and immidiately fell back into postion which makes me think she might have noticed. I am not really sure about this whole event right now.
(side note) she also laughs a little more when speaking to me, not at a joke I say or anything just at maybe a thought I mention.

This is a serious question for all you great guys, and any women who feel they have an answer for me...we are seperated 3 months now. He hasnt filed for divorce. I havent filed for divorce..why can i be honest with everyone, and say I am seperated...but he tells everyone he is divorced. Not to mention its on his yahoo profile, and his my space profile. He honestly feels this way, but there have been no papers filed for divorce, or seperation...just living seperate lives in seperate houses? Can anyone tell me what his way of thinking means, and how this approach could possibly make any sense to him? Thanks to all!
