My daughter went thru a stomach thing the other day. There was a little vomiting, and some diarhea. When she went to flush, she noticed that her stool was white. I have never seen white stool in my entire life, but I think I remember hearing somewhere that it was a sign of something not too good. She's all better now, and I scheduled an appointment with her pediatrican asap. Is there anyone out there who has heard about this?

if it's normal now then it was probably just due to the stomach virus. White stool can indicate liver problems, but normally only if this more than once. You probably have nothing to worry about. Make sure you mention it to the pediatrician!

A light stool is okay since she did have a stomach flu. Now if it were black thats when you should worry because that means that it has blood in it.So don't panic im sure she is fine. My children have had the same thing before and they were fine.

Did you give her any anti diareals?

What about food during diareha? Rice, bananas, apple sauce are all light colored foods and all eaten together could cause light colored stool.
