I kept hearing a DJ called THEMOJOMAN a few years back refer to that song in his RAP but he would only say"BET YOU DON'T KNOW WHO MADE THIS SONG" He's never say who. He'd also say "OOH BOP SHA BOP"

Ok, people who have not seen the movie, I won't spoil anything. If you saw it, please don't spoil it either. Ok, I thought it was a very good movie. However, what they showed at the VERY end (not the WHOLE scene, just the last image)... Does anyone else agree with me that if you hadn't figured it out by then, you don't deserve to? :-) It's kind of like "Well, DUH!"

My son has asked for help with his chemistry and I have no idea what to do. It was never one of my strong points at school so I was wondering if someone could help me with these, in as basic a way as you can because I really am terrible lol.

Q: Balance the following equations if necessary and write them as ionic equations.

a) HCl(aq) + NaOH(aq) --> NaCl(aq) + H2O(l)

b) HNO3(aq) + Mg(OH)2(aq) --> Mg(NO3)2(aq) + H2O(l)

c) LiCl(aq) + AgNO3(aq) --> AgCl(s) + LiNO3(aq)

d) H2SO4(aq) + LiOH(aq) --> Li2SO4(aq) + H2O(l)

e) Pb(NO3)2(aq) + KCl(aq) --> KNO3(aq) + PbCl2(s)


It's been several years since I took chemistry at school and I can't even remember what half of these symbols stand for so i'm not much help to my son unfortunately. Any help would be very mmuch appreciated. Thank You.

I've been a vegetarian for over 20 years on ethical grounds. I believed then, and even more strongly now that there are better ways of feeding ourselves than eating dead animals, most of which have been abused and manipulated their entire short lives.
Why is it then that having a concience and trying in my small way to make the world a kinder place, has resulted in a significant minority of people either treating me as if I have a screw loose, or even worse, accusing me of being some sort of dangerous subversive?
Incidentally, I was born and brought up in the country and worked on farms in my teens so I'm not a 'sentimental townie'.
