Yes, so many times. That is when you are in love and when in love even a normal looking girl would look like a beauty queen.

When I love a girl, I think no woman can come close to her but after breaking up, I'm like thinking was this the girl I thought was beautiful.

I am married now and I think my wife is beautiful not only cause I am in love but cause she is indeed very beautiful.

I have a 14 year old daughter and we talk a lot. I am trying to prepare her what lies ahead, so I explained the 90 day rule. Because people can't fake too much beyond 90 days. When you meet someone, the first 30 days they're wonderful, beautiful, exciting. 60 days you may notice some things, but by 90 days you're going to see the flaws believe me. And the other thing that you have to realize - - all that super hot, cute stuff doesn't mean a thing long term. Looks is not what will sustain your relationship with another person. My famous phrase is that it's "window dressing" - what's the point in being with someone really cute, if you can't trust them, talk to them, they're not loyal, they're not committed to the friendship/relationship. . they're wish-washy. . ?

Of course, almost anyone who has ever dated someone and broken up with them has thought the person was great at first and then not so great!
I think personality trumps looks and once you see what's inside of a person they may lose some or a lot of that attractiveness.

I think your best bet is to find someone else. I know, it sucks, but this guy sounds like a douche. I only say that because of what you told me, and I know his type. They seem awesome, like great guys, but they have a dark, dirty side. I really would advise you don't go near this guy. He seems like a douche, and look who he went for before. You said she was a b**ch, and she sounds slutty. He seems like he looks for girls that will be all sexual and stuff with him, and I get the impression that you arent really into that type of thing. I think that looking for other guys is what you should do.

OMG YEAH!
I have adopted the "2 month rule" . . .
I think people hide their true selves when you first meet them. Either out of a "trying to impress" thing, or they are just false.
So, I TRY to hold back until they have a chance to get comfy & reveal the real "them".

Plus, I think infatuation & sexual attraction added to the so-called "Honeymoon period" make people more attractive. When that wears down, they aren't all that anymore.

Once upon a time, there was a guy who was soooooo sexy, that I could'nt wait to next to him, then when I finally got up the nerve to approach him, he told me he was Gay,and that he was flattered. We are friends though.

That's infatuation. For the first 3 months you think they are perfect, and then reality sets in.
