I am getting into a phase where I am about to purchase my first home and I'm 23 yrs old. I keep hearing people talk about closing cost. Forgive me if his sounds dumb but I am new to this. What are closing cost? Is that the same as deposit or down payment? HELP!!!

I write every chance I get and have compiled a good bit of poems and I think I am ready to try and get published. But my delima is that I have no money in wich to invest in a big publishing company ( or a small one at that). I wanted to know if any one new of a omost free way to get published. or something like that. thanks!

I recently went on line for the comic strip Overboard and Pirates of Penzance and it is not the one I am looking for. I remember the comic strip featured 2 short pirates with big swords that lead the crew. They never wanted to fight and had some very funny comments. I do not remember a tall captain or a dog on board. I last saw it in the Chicago Sun-times a couple of years ago,but it just stopped appearing. I checked on Ask.com but only came up with the two popular comic strips mentioned above. Maybe someone who lives in Chicago or lived in Chicago can remember.

That is how it was when we started dating and I was okay with it, but as we got closer a few months into the relationship, he took pictures of those girls off and had pictures only of me. Now he put those pictures back, and I don't like it. I think that at least in his photo section, there should only be room for me.

Another MySpace issue that i have with him is that he never comments... or hardly ever. I see those other guys who post cute little notes on their girlfriends' pages all the time... it's very rare when my bf leaves me a sweet comment. I know it's trivial, but if he knows my heart melts with that stuff, why doesn't he just do it? He says he's not really the comment type, but is it that hard to leave a comment at least for your girlfriend? SO yeah, those are my two questions. But yeah, back to the first... do I have a right to be angry at the fact that he put back those pictures?

What do you feel are the pros and cons of being a stay at home mom or dad? My husband and I have a 19month old daughter, and my husband is the working one. The hours arent too demanding, so he still has a good ammount of time with us. I also work from home when I have the down time, because I enjoy it, and it help build a retirement income for us. We really love the situation, and cant fathom having to pay someone to raise our child for us. I know other choose differently, and thats ok. What have your experiences with stay at home parenthood been? Pros cons? How did you make the choice? Was your own mom or dad a stay at home parent, and did you appreciate it? Just wanting to hear from others in a similar situation as me. Thanks and god bless you all!
