The Biblical description of the flood in Genesis chapter 6, 7 and 8 indicates that the deluge was universal and it destroyed every living thing on earth, except those present with Noah (pbuh) in the ark. The description suggests that the event took place 1656 years after the creation of Adam (pbuh) or 292 years before the birth of Abraham, at a time when Noah (pbuh) was 600 years old. Thus the flood may have occurred in the 21st or 22nd Century B.C.
This story of the flood, as given in the Bible, contradicts scientific evidence from archaelogical sources which indicate that the eleventh dynasty in Egypt and the third dynasty in Babylonia were in existence without any break in civilisation and in a manner totally unaffected by any major calamity which may have occurred in the 21st century B.C. This contradicts the Biblical story that the whole world had been immersed in the flood water.

Alright my girlfriend and I are "taking a break" long story... Anyways she invited me to come and watch a basketball game with her on Saturday night. I am somewhat hessitant because she is the one that said she needed the space. I would love to go with her but I know that I would want to be able to hold her hand or kiss her, and I just know that it would be akward. We have been dating for 3 years and things have been fairly serious. I will provide any more information if needed.

I am in a financial situation & my fiance & I just recently bought a new car together. We are going to have to pay for the wedding ourselves but now that we have a car to pay for we aren't going to have much extra money. I still want to enjoy my "wedding" and I want others involved as well.

okay here is the deal i was dating this Nic for 5yrs. and things ended pretty bad.well i hooked up with another guy that didnt last either but i had gotten preg. by this guy. My bike has the same problem (front tyre) every month, it was a cheap bike, but the price seems to get higher every time I have to take the tyre for repair. It is a mountain bike, I use it to get to work every day, and sometimes use it at weekends. Which tyres would you recommend, any special brands that would be better than my current 'disposable' tyres?
