They have neither more nor less rights to free speech than us citizens. If anything, they should be more vocal than they are; it's good to have diverse viewpoints, so that people can consider all possibilities and solutions. Americans do tend to be pretty polarized along liberal/conservative lines, and this sometimes results in our country wearing blinders on some issues.

Some bring value in their experiences, and others bring corruption in their experiences; based on the individual.
Governement should hear the voices of it's citizens (registered voters). Immigrants can work to become USA citizens providing the American ppl believe we can exist in unity together. This is why the immigration office has historically had "Tight" immigration (letting few into the USA) and "Loose" immigration (letting many into the USA).
We can only hope that the registered voters will have compassion to the needs of the immigrants while maintaining their rights and needs as well.
BTW ... governement voting isn't worth as much as the ability to vote in key USA companies. When you own stock in a USA company then you've got power to be heard; not holding in mutal funds 'cas they have the mf managers vote 4 u ... own the stock yourself.

Immigrants have the same rights as anyone else. Conidering this country was built on, and prospered from immigration it would be hypocritical to give them less rights. As far as illegal immigrants are concerned ( from the comments above) they do not qualify for, nor can they collect, any kind of government aid. ie welfare....etc This is a misconception on the part of the "average american" You need to have documentation to collect any help from the govt. In that sense, the only people getting this are citizens and LEGAL immigrants.

If an immigrant is here legally and has become an American citizen, or is working on becoming a citizen they have the right to speak out. Experience is always a valuable teacher and should always be respected where ever it is from...

Free speech in America is such a given that's not even a question.
Say (or sing) what you want, because nobody is listening,
including big brother.
Just don't try to take shampoo on an airplane!

If they are a legal US citizen, meaning they immigrated here legally, then they have just as many rights as any one else. However, Illegal immigrants have no rights to in this country, (eg. free healthcare, welfare, etc), and they have no right to demand those things!
