My car is an automatic and whenever I shift it to DRIVE it does not respond. Two temporary solutions I've found are to switch back and forth between all gears, going back to DRIVE until it finally 'catches' and let's the car accelerate. The other one is that I move it to DRIVE and press on the gas really hard until it just jumps forward. What could be causing this?

A guy i'm dating is having a custody issue w/his 22 mo old. The mom (who's absolutely nuts...like in rehab, DWI, stole from him, etc) lives in MN which is where the baby was born. The mom was so out of control that its actually the father (who lives in WI) and the paternal grandparents who have custody, no other formal agreements were signed. Right now they're on 3 week rotations. However, the grandparents said that the dad would see him less once winter comes. I know we live in a world where everything is in favor of the mom but I think this is a case where the mom is clearly out of control. What rights do the grandparents have? Are they equal or superior to the dad? Can the grandparents control visitation? What about the fact that state lines are being crossed?

Ok....have I lost control or is this normal? I have a 19 month old daughter who is throwing tantrums about EVERYTHING!! Screaming, kicking and yelling "NO" when I try to redirect her. I remove her from the situation and am consistent but it feels like she is getting worse and could care less about that. On occasion I have swatted her hand or leg and told her no and she just hits me back. Last night she flushed my cell phone down the toilet and I lost it and screamed at her and put her in her play pen so I could calm down. I am at my wits end and do not want to lose control and get on her level and scream and act like a kid myself. PLEASE someone with similar experince tell me how to get control back. She is so smart and talks very well, we have a steady schedule and do plenty of things together like read and play in her room or at the park when I get off work. I do not want to raise a brat.....help!!

I am 20 weeks pregnant with my first child...I have felt her move a few times but not to much...I had an ultrasound 4 days ago and you could see her moving but I could not feel it...I was just wondering if it was normal at this stage in my pregnancy to not feel her move...Everyone I know that has been pregnant says they felt their baby move on a daily basis between 10 and 16 weeks...Here I am halfway done and I do not feel her...Any advice would be great!!
