Every pregnancy is different. I have three, and I cannot pinpoint exactly when they started to move a lot but I do know that it was around 20 weeks, but I do know that you are okay, sometimes the baby is not big enough yet for you to feel every little kick, don't worry. really. If you had an ultrasound and the baby was moving and you didn't feel it then, you are fine. Just give it another week or two you will wish that he/she would get his little sweet baby foot out of your ribs. HA HA you will know what I mean when the time comes around.

Hi,
Good to hear you just had an ultra sound and everything looked fine! I felt my 1st pregnancy movement at 17 weeks. The 1st thing you feel is called "fluttering." It feels like a butterfly or I like to describe it for me as a trickling bubble that felt like it climbed up my abdomen to my heart. Every women is different. Some women don't feel movement until 21 weeks. I'm now 23 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and I didn't feel the fluttering with this child at all and that is because my placenta is in the front of my tummy, kinda like tummy armor, so it makes it more difficult to feel. I do feel her moving her arms/legs around more now, but remember every women is different. It' snot possible to feel movement before 16 weeks in most cases. You may want to get a week by week pregnancy book. It will give you answers to many questions you have on a weekly basis. The futher alsong you get the more you will feel the baby move. At your next utrasound, ask the tech where your placenta is located. Best of luck to you!

20 weeks is about normal to start feeling the baby move. I heard that a good rule of thumb is that the baby will be born 20 weeks after you feel the first movement. I felt my baby move around 20 weeks. so 20 more weeks is 40! it makes sense to me.
And if this is your first pregnancy, it's hard to tell what is a fetal movement and what is your body's digestion. I wouldn't worry about it. She'll be kicking the heck out of you soon enough.

Who on earth has felt their baby move at 10 weeks??? Wow!
Don't worry hon, at 20 weeks it is perfectly normal to only feel the baby moving sporadically, especially since this is your first. You'll feel it more and more as time goes on. At 20 weeks, the baby is big enough to be felt a little bit, but still tiny enough that a lot depends on how she's positioned at any given time. Enjoy the little fluttering movements now - it won't be too long before she really starts beating you up from the inside. :)

Try drinking a nice glass of milk, and lying down for awhile. Don't sleep, just concentrate on feeling her. Talk to her, and maybe she'll react to your voice. Usually babies move after they receive some food energy. I know my baby moved at night after I drank some milk and lay down to go to sleep. Also she would move in the morning before I woke up, and she'd wake my hubby up. So perhaps you're sleeping through some of her movements.
Go to the doc and get a check up if you're concerned about her. Otherwise, don't worry and it'll pick up soon!

First congrats. You are fine, if you saw her moving on the ultrasound she probably it's big enough for you to feel her a whole lot yet. Enjoy her and Cherish everymintue with her. They grow up sooooooo fast.

Not to fret! You will feel that baby move soon enough. Some women especially first time moms will take longer to feel the baby move.
Good luck and congrats!

Always with your first pregnancy it takes a little longer to feel the baby kick. There is nothing to worry about. You'll find with your 2nd pregnancy, should you decide to have another, you'll feel the baby a lot sooner. Congrats!!

That is fairly undoubtedly now not typical, pass search scientific recommend asap! Or get your self checked right into a intellectual clinic. Thoughts turn out to be movements, you do not desire to harm a baby or child uncontrollably! Please search support earlier than its to past due!
