Hi I'm a fairly experienced fish owner who has a 29 gallon aquarium. I keep the temperature at a constant 75 degrees F and I have a good filter that I keep the filter cartridge changed consistently. I do monthly 25% water changes when i syphon. I also have an air bubbler for extra oxygen and I keep several healthy aquarium plants. All my levels are normal (nitrate, nitrite, PH, ammonia) but every few months I seem to lose a fish to popeye! It's only one fish that gets it (and eventually dies) ever 2 months or so and the medicine doesn't work even though I take out my carbon!! I don't know what else to do. Overall I've lost 2 german rams and now discovered my dalmatian platy has it so bad he looks like a telescope goldfish!

I'm at my wits end. My angel fish is my biggest and oldest fish and has never shown signs of illness, but he doesn't pick on my other fish so i don't think he's stressing them.

I left a candle burning and the glass got to hot and it broke. The wax melted and ran onto my new shag carpet. Does anyone know how to get candle wax off carpet with out totally destroing it? I don't want to cut it.

As someone who has studied singing for severel years and would maybe like to teach it one day I am interested in this question.

When you hear "bad" singers on shows like American Idol, X Factor etc being mocked and laughed at and told to "forget it you can't sing" - how true is that? Could good and patient tuition teach these people to sing well?

Those who do not find singing comes easily - can they be taught to sing well? Is it all instinct? Or can a voice be moulded in the same way as someone who is basically unfit can lose weight and tone up and become fit??

I beleive confidence has a lot to do with it - professional singers sound confident, amateurs often don't and it makes the difference.

I never found singing came easily to me and was told by two teachers I had "no ability" - but my voice did and has improved greatly, through work, to the extent where it is now regularly complimented by other musicians and singers. Is this true of everyone?

I mean. We have the Bible and thats the rules. Then Jesus comes along and says "Oh, many of those rules do not apply now". Was God wrong? How can he be wrong? He's God for God's sake. Now you have the New testament. Can someone explain to me how God was wrong about so much and how can the rest of the Bible be believed if we allready know it to be a flawed text.
