my boyfriend's doctor just called and told him he needed to come back into the office because his blood test results had showed "high thyroid levels". he had gone in to do standard blood screening for an annual physical. they would not give him any other information about what that means or what he should expect during his next doctor visit. can anyone give us any guidance?

I live in an old house (big and secure) but old. The house has been preserved well over the years, problem is we can't get even the strongest man to open the windows. Any suggestions?!? There doesn't apear to be paint keeping them down and they are the old fashion kind with metal springs and brackets.

My boyfriend just bought me a new Dooney & Bourke purse for my 21st birthday. It's this bag. http://store.dooney.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=20408 in the black & cream. The main part of the bag is cloth and I'm really afraid of getting it dirty. Any ideas on how to keep it clean? Ways to clean it if it DOES get dirty? She's my roommate, and I asked her where she and her boyfriend had gotten a TV device (that was obviously mine that I left downstairs). She said they had always had it, however, a month before she had asked me how much they were and I had told her. Mine is gone, and I really doubt they went to the same exact place and got the same one. Considering they did NOT have one when they moved in- which is something we had discussed(see above)- and now she's saying she did.... what do I do? I'm pretty irritated. This isn't the first time she's done something like this, to me or others.
