In my opinion, to debate the semantics of the use of the word "ignorant" doesn't accomplish anything. We all use the wrong words at times.

3 possiblities

first only is like sayin always or never -its ignorant to say only certain people do certain things-but i would like to get 10 points cause i asked alot of chocolate chips cookie questions under religious cause i prayed over sharin em and stuff-im almost at 1000 points

second maybe some do and its a big word ignrorant people probably use words like stupid or dumb

3rd well i proved that point -i read your clearifyin point-come join our 360 learn to be an ignroant prince or a smart one the choice is yours-we got over 200 princesses and if you dont spell good they get a grandma teacher after u-i better go check my 360 in case i smelled a word rong. peace up bro keep hackin it out-u got strong plauibilities-and Jesus cares no matter even if u dont smell good or use long wordes

That is why I call people like you stupid instead of ignorant. You wouldn't understand the difference and 2 syllables are easier to say than 3

How can ignorant people use the word if they're too ignorant to know what it means or even how to spell it?

I couldn't agree with you more. I can't stand when people use that word, it is WAY overused now and it bugs the hell out of me. It seems like a lame insult that people fall back on when they can't think of anything worthwhile to say.

No. Sometimes it is the accurate word to describe a statement or person. It means "not knowing" from Latin "ignorare".
