I have made them before, using mint from the produce section at the store which was just called "mint". Now I have a friend who has some fresh mint growing in her backyard and she has offered to give me some to make my juleps. But then she said "do you need spearmint or peppermint" ? And I realized I don't know ! When you buy mint in the store, what kind of mint is it? I'm thinking the mint juleps tasted like spearmint, but I don't want to chance it. Anybody know for sure? Preferably southerners so I know it's authentic! (ha)

I would very much enjoy seeing the musical Wicked, but I can't find when it's going to come to Ohio or even where it will be. I don't know how to find the play.

Our goverment would work with the illegals by donating to them an acre or two of land in turn for their legalization and give them a chance to start a new life here in america. They could pick thru the applications of all. and for the first 5 years they would be monitored by the INS to make sure they are following all rules stated in their contracts. They will be givin a 3 strikes and your out clause during those 5 years. After wards they would be able to travel around the united states as any free loving american. Do you think that might make the illegals want to come out of hiding and apply for citizenship??

As many of the regulars know, I am an agnostic, and not trying to convert anyone,

So in the interest of creating a database of questions and answers, I am wondering if I could get answers to this question.

If an Atheist or an Agnostic is pro-life regarding abortion, they would not be wanting to push their religion on the rest of America. Therefore, is it really a harm to society that anyone who is religious has the same point of view?

Specifically would like the questions and answers to this question to be limited to the topic of abortion.

Im gonna see a doctor but i wanna know if you guys know wats wrong here. I feel like im gonna throw up but im not. My head feels all fuzzy and itchy. My legs hurt occasionally like a growing pain feeling. I feel fatigued alot. Im drinknig more water than usual (alot especially when i workout) and get hungry outta no where. and ive lost some weight like 5 lbs. And i feel like im not getting enough sleep even though i sleep for like 10 hours. I think i might have diabetes. Im very very scared and having bad anxiety about it. Can you guys tell me wats wrong. i think i might jsut be thinknig aobut things too much....idk

I have a few DVDs from overseas and I want to buy a DVD player that can play them as well as my region 1 US DVDs. Are there any players that do that? (I've also heard that there's a disc you can buy that tricks a DVD player into playing another region's DVDs.....any info on that?)

Also, if I had a multi-regional DVD player, I heard that a new encoding format for Region 1 DVDs, RCE, won't be able to be played on a multi-regional player. Is this true? Do I need to worry about the new blue discs and HD discs that are coming out not being able to be played on such a player?

I was in a terrible car accident 2 years back. I am better. But at my job, i work 10 hours a day and i cant get up do to what my job consists of. So i have to eat at my desk and the only timei can get up is to pee. But sometimes (like twice a month) i get excruciating back pain where im crying. I have taken every muscle relaxer and meds out there. The only meds to help me is vicodin. But my other doctor retired, now its a pain (literally) finding a doc that will give it to me. they are always giving me percocets and stuff. they dont work. What should i say to finally convince them to listen to me! Geeze!

My old computer is slow, very slow. It's a costum built computer (made by CompUSA) designed for Windows 95. However when I bought it, it had Windows 98 installed on it. It has a:
4Mhz Intel Celeron Processor.
48MB memory (I may have installed more memory on it)
4.3 GB harddrive
56k Modem

Well I want to delete everything from the computer and install Linux. However because the computer is so old and slow I have no Idea how to connect it to the internet.
Should I install Linux on my old computer? If yes can I download the software onto my current computer, burn it to a disc and then install it on the Windows (blank CD or a DVD)?

If I shouldn't install Linux how do I delete all the data on my old computer without getting rid of windows 98? I want to clear everything from the computer except for the applications that originally came with it.
Where should I start? Is there a guid that I could follow?
