Yes, they are real, and so are spirits. I have seen a ghost when I was about 9 years old one night I woke up and saw an old man standing a few feet away from the side of my bed with a black suit on. He looked like the man that used to live upstairs of us that died a few months before that. It really freaked me out, and I could not sleep for nights after that! Then a year ago last April, I woke up one night to see a tall figure standing by my bed with a white robe on and was very tall. It had a blue tie of some sort hanging around his neck, and I looked to see where my German Shepherd was at the time because I was scared, and there he was sleeping on his back, on the bed with no clue to what was going on! When I looked back, I thought whatever it was would be gone, but it was STILL standing there!! Finally, the blue thing around its neck that hung down, started moving slowing over by my lamp, and disappeared! It was about 4:30, or 5:00 a.m. when I looked at the clock, and I could not go back to sleep after that!! I'm still not sure what it was! MY husband is a trucker, and was not home that night, and was glad he wasn't! Hope I don't see anymore! I really don't know of any websites on the subject, but I'm sure their are!

I don't know of any spooky web sites, but I do have ghost stories of my own. I haven't actually "seen" one, but I think I may have heard and felt one.
Every so often, I hear someone walking fast down the stairs at home and find out that no one is there. I thought I heard my daughter walk in the kitchen while I was doing the dishes (my back facing the entrance) so I started talking to her. When she didn't respond, I turned around and no one was there. At other times, I felt someone put their hand on my back. Thinking it was my husband or daughter sneaking up on me, I turn around and no one is there.
Similar things have happened at my grandparents' previous house while I was growing up. My mom used to hear footsteps in the hallway at night. It only happened once, but when I slept over, I woke up in the middle of the night to what sounded like an out of tune choir. I thought I was dreaming because, as soon as I woke up, everything was silent. The moment I put my head back down on my pillow, the singing started again and I wasn't even asleep so I couldn't have been dreaming. My aunt took a picture of the dog in the backyard. When the picture was developed, there was an image of person in the window behind the dog and no one home at the time. There were several other things that happened.

yes, they are energy. everything has some kind of energy. physics come to play here. everything has an equal and opposite reaction. what goes up... spiritual entities are some what different. Many people have many different theories, however one thing is common among them all. You feel it. shivers, tingles, fear. you feel them when they are near. therefore, it is a type of energy. also, spooky web sites? not too many of them these days. if you search for "ghosts" or "haunted houses" they'll have some pretty nifty stuff for ya!

Most definitely. I have had 6 visits from the same ghost. My husband and mother-in-law both think it was my husband's father. He was shot and killed by his 2nd wife when my husband was 10 years old. When I had finally gotten up the courage to tell my husband about the experiences, he told me his mother experienced the same thing the night his father was killed.
