Everyone knows what an algae eater looks like right? Their usually black fish that stick on the side of your fish tank and the "suck" the algae off. Well mine is about 2 inches long and everynight for the past couple of nights he's been turning a very light, almost white color. Is this normal and does anyone know why this is happening?

......if I accept his help for quickly gettin a part-time job?

This guy, former colleague of mine, wanted to date me a few weeks ago. I said it wouldn't be such a good idea - well, honestly, I like him a lot as a friend but nothing more, I wouldn't want to confuse him, so I didn't date, at all.

In the meantime he spoke with a common friend and found out that I am looking for a part-time job and finally he talked to some people and he told me yesterday that I could start at any time when I want!!!
I never asked for his help, didn't even know he was aware of my problems - it was a surprise.

The thing is: I really needed that help now, but I feel awkward if I accept his help. Am I a user if I accept it?????
He said he only wanted to tell me about the job, because he happened to know somebody,and he doesn't expect anything in exchange... I should not misinterpret it!

I have a LG 32LX1D LCD TV, Tivo Series 2, Sony DVD player with Component Outputs, and a Comcast CableCard, and an old-school VCR, all of which I would like connected. (No special audio considerations, for now).

What's the best way to do it? The Tivo does not have component outputs (not HD-compatible) so I'd like to run S-Video and Composite Audio to the TV. Can someone help me figure out how to wire this?

And, how does the Comcast Cablecard work? I realize it plugs into the TV, but is there a cable running from the Cablecard to the TV? Or to another device? Thanks for the help!

Recently Exxon released their quarterly earning (profit) of 10.3 BILLION dollars. What this means"we are being gouged at the pumps". Since our politicians are being funded by these big oil companies they will not help us. We can do something to lower prices by BOY COTTING these companies starting with Exxon service stations and Exxon products. It's a starting point.
When their corperate profits decline they will be forced to lower their prices.
When this quarter ends, the company reporting the Highest profit should be boy cotted for the next quarter until they lower their prices. In other words the companies with the highest profit will not get our business for the next quarter.
I hope everyone reading this will spend at least 5 points to continue circulating this message until everyone understands the importance of sticking together to pressure these companies to lower their prices. Doing nothing means business as usual for the oil companies. Take a stand now, Boy Cott

Ok. I know the question sounds provocative.

However:

The Qu'ran is the DIRECTLY REVEALED word of Allah to his Prophet Muhammad.

Therefore there is NO theologically valid role for INTERPRETATION of the Qu'ran. You doubt or question the Qu'ran and you doubt and question Allah.

So, how can liberalising interpretations of Islam be anything other than hypocrisy? Either the Qu'ran is the word of God or not.

A couple of examples I wonder whether you approve of or practise?
