I have a friend who has a mother. Her mother suggested that we all join the zoo in my state and buy a year membership. She told me to buy mine soon because the mother and daughter who is my friend were going to join before the summer begins. I bought my year ticket asssuming that my friend and her mother would join soon. I paid $50.00 for it. However, it is almost the end of July, and they never joined the zoo. I asked them if they were going to join for the year and they responded by saying it is way too hot to join in the summer. They also said they do not know if they are joining for the year or not. You see, I do not drive and my other friend will not go with me neither my family because they disliked the zoo. I only been once this year to the zoo and that is when I joined and paid for my year membership. I remember the mother asking me to join for the year and we would all go to the zoo this summer. It would take me an hour to an hour and a half to go myself on the bus to the zoo

My boyfriend & I have been together for 12 yrs. We have a son, & are still very much in love. However, in the past 2 months I met a girl that think I am in love with. I think about her all the time. When I am around her I just want to spend all the time talking to her & looking at her. I have told my boyfriend about my feelings & he is supportive. He has told me that if I am bisexsual there is nothing that I can do about it and that he is cool with it. Here's the problem. I don't know if she feels the same about me. There have been some subtle hints that make me think that she does but I just don't know. Secondly, not only do we work in the same place, but she is my subordinate, so things could get complicated. If I express my feelings & she does not share the same feelings, I could lose my job- sexual harrassment. Heck I could even lose my job if she feels the same & we develop a relationship & people find out. I have never felt this way about a woman before. What should I do?

This is a follow-up to another's question regarding the Second Commandment and Christians use of religious images. The general respose was that these images are not idols, so they do not break the Second Commandment.

So is the desecration/destruction of objects like the crucifix a sin? Are those who are iconoclasts - "image breakers" - who see these images to be wrong committing a wrong in destroying them?

I realize that it may be offensive to those who value the image, just as the burning of the flag may be offensive, but is it a sin? If so, how so?
