I used to be a waitress and what really made me so mad is when customers would say that.. Another is when they would not read the menu and order something and then say what all comes on that. Sometimes the customer just want it to be their way all the time, then they make an fool out of themselves when its not. Also if the waitress looks busy when they are waiting on you don't grab there arm and say uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh can I uhhhhhhhhhhh can I get uhhhhhhhhh salt. waitress thoughts - its on the dang table look. And then when we hand it to you don't go off on them when they give it to you. Just think we see your food and drinks before you do!!! Anybody seen Waiting

The customer is always the customer. I have to put up with you at work but not here! So I am going to get a few things off my chest! When at drive-thru, don't try to chat with us. Don't sit there and go, "Hello? Hello?" We hear you, we know you're there. Wait. Don't explain your reasoning for buying our food - we don't care. Plain means NOTHING on it. Asking for the sandwich does not mean we will automatically give you the combo meal. We are not mind readers. Do not change your order. Know what you want BEFORE you get to the drive-thru sensor or the front register. We don't have all day, and neither do the people waiting in line behind you. Don't lie about what you ordered from one place in line to another - thinking something and saying it aloud are 2 different things. No stupidity allowed. We don't care if the food is for your dog, baby, alien, or idiot. Get it and get out. Define "orange drink" or "sauce" when ordering. If we ask you to repeat something, do so quietly and respectfully, jack@ss. Do not assume that we are dumber than you are just because we work in food service. We have everything from Masters in Finance to future lawyer/multi linguist to opera star hopeful, and are probably smarter than you are. Learn to read a menu. Don't drive off from drive-thru in the middle of an order. Yes, you DO have to order from the speaker like everyone else. You're not special. You ignore us, we will ignore you. Don't be rude or impatient or short with us - we don't want to deal with you any more than you want to deal with us. There are certain things you just can't have. Deal with it. We don't care if you leave. We don't get commission or tips. Say you want cheese right away. Otherwise we have to start all over. Learn to count. Do one order per car. Do the math on your OWN time to split it with your friends. Don't ask for stuff off the broiler and then complain cause it took too long. Don't drive off without your stuff. Don't try to blame us for YOUR mistakes. And most importantly KNOW WHAT FAST FOOD JOINT YOUR AT! DON'T ASK FOR A BIG MAC AT BK, OR A WHOPPER AT KFC!

I agree with you. The customer is always right! People who are waitressing or whatever should know about the job before he/she starts. The waiter should know that you will deal with aggressive customers, annoying customers, happy customers and customers who know nothing! Be prepared for them and if you don't like us customers then go find another job that you can handle! :)

Sorry, guess what the customer is not always right but we have to cater to you, the public anyway.

The customer has forgotten how to be appreciative to begin with and don't remember that we are providing a service to you.

I asked the boss one time "what if the customer really isn't right?".
He said then we refer to rule #1 THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT.

Personally, I don't think they are always right.
