I got my ears peirced for the first time today (woo-hoo!) I know I have to leave in my studs for 6 weeks so my holes won't grow in. I also know that I should wear "real" earrings (meaning 14-karot gold or white gold) for a while to reduce the risk of my ears being prone to reactions from "fake" jewelry (the stuff you get for $0.99 at Wal-mart) later in life. My question is, how long do I have to do this? My mom says 6 months, my sister says a year! Help!!!

I have studied many diffrent religions. I have not studied much of yours, but I am always learning.

Now, today, I have read some of the prophecies made, the minor ones, and some of the things about Jesus and Muhammed.

Can you tell me if I have this right. You believe in God (Allah in your launguage), Moses, and Jesus only as a prophet. But Muhammed was the last and final prophet, making your religion complete and accurate? And the Quran has never been altered in ANY way, not even revised right?

I am only learning, so as to educate myself. Is there any other major points to your religion I should know about? And if Jesus was a prophet and taugh Love, and Muhammed was also a prophet, why did he teach violence?

I mean no disrespect, I am merely curious.
