Well thats only in our country. In other countries men wear speedos so everything is shown, just like women, and sometimes no one wears anything. NUDIST BEACH!
Oh I have another comment: You need to get out of your Puritanical Mindset!!

Oh, c'mon now. You're being petty.
Every woman has the right to make choices about their body. There is no LAW that states a women needs to wear a string thong and itty-bitty top at the beach. It is, in point of fact, just one of those things for which I give a prayer of gratitude to God for each night.
In MY prime, back in the 1920s, things were as you described. Women wore ankle length skirts. I remember me and my buddy Norman would go down to the beach to check out ankles every Saturday afternoon. Yup - I'm gonna score me some ankle, I used to say.
Back then, men wore tank tops. Often a women, hiding behind all her clothing, would coyly say, "My, my, what big muscles you have Bernard." Norman and I would leave the beach feeling so degraded and humiliated. The women looked at as like we were slabs of meat at Billy's Butcher Shop on Main street.
I remember talkin' to Norman, sipping on a Coca-Cola - the newest drink at the time. I said, "Norman, some day the tables will be reversed. We will be fully clothed at the beach, and the women will toss away all their clothes until they are wearing nothing but their Sears and Roebuck undergarments. And, dagnabbit, once that day comes, I will die in peace!"
Well, thanks for asking the question and making me realize that I now must die. I hope the angels are pretty and half-naked.

Just returned from Marco Island and the bikinis were filled out rather nicely. Don't think it would be so much fun if the guys were walking and swinging at the same time.
But the women might like it more--truth in advertizing, maybe.

i agree, i'd never go if it was the other way around.if men were wearing thongs, i couldn't go to beach anymore, that would be aweful.
