A DOG NAMED "SEX"
(What Not to Name Your Dog)

Everybody who has a dog calls him "Rover" or "Boy". I call mine "Sex". He's a great pal but he has caused me a great deal of embarrassment. When I went to city hall to renew his dog license, I told the clerk I would like a license for Sex. He said, "I'd like one too!" Then I said, "But this is a dog." He said he didn't care what she looked like. Then I said, "You don't understand. I've had Sex since I was nine years old." He winked and said, "You must've been quite a kid!"

When I got married & went on my honeymoon, I took the dog with me. I told the motel clerk that I want a room for my wife and me, and a special room for Sex. He said, "You don't need a special room. As long as you pay your bill, we don't care what you do." I said, "Look, you don't seem to understand, Sex keeps me awake at night." The clerk said, "Funny, I have the same problem."

One day I entered Sex in a contest, but before the competition began, the dog ran away. Another contestant asked me why I was just standing there, looking disappointed. I told him I had planned to have Sex in the contest. He told me I should have sold my own tickets, "But you don't understand." I said "I had hope to have Sex on TV." He said, "Now that cable is all over the place, it's no big deal anymore."

When my wife & I separated, we went to court to fight for the custody of the dog. I said, " Your Honour, I had Sex before I was married." The judge said, " The courtroom isn't a confessional, stick to the case please." Then I told him that after I was married, Sex left me. He said, "Me too!"

Last night Sex ran off again. I spent hours looking around town for him. A cop came over to me and asked, "What are you doing in this alley at 4 o'clock in the morning?" I told him that I was looking for Sex. My case comes up this Friday!

my youngest son bought himself a car almost 2 months ago...and
the sales tax was due after 30 day's..Well needless to say one thing led to another and cannot pay sales tax...Is there any way he can get an extention??? Because he cannot get the car tagged or anything untill that sales tax is paid. OH1 before you say Mom help him????????????? I did, till I myself am scraping change.
I just dont want him to lose his car and dont want him in any trouble..Anyone know of a solution???to buy some time...?????

In Tolkien's Lord of the Rings trilogy, the fellowship travels to Mordor, to mount Doom to destroy the ring. They are led by Gandalf. Obviously it was not the plan that Gandalf was lost and the fellowship broken. But suppose even with Gandalf dead, and the rest of the Fellowship reaching the Emyn Muil and dead Marshes, what would have been the way into Mordor? The Black Gate seems well defended, both in the books and the movie, Cirith Ungol makes Gandalf the White sudder, and wish they had chosen a different path, and Minas Morgul is under constant watch of the Nazgul. How had Gandalf planned the infiltration in Mordor with these paths blocked?

P.S. I asked myself this a long time ago, before the movies came out, but since I only know this site a few days, I am only asking this now.

Well, that proceeds without extreme violence or nothing much said about it.

Gaza, itself, the latest phase, began on June 24. It was when Israel abducted two Gaza civilians, a doctor and his brother. We don't know their names. You don’t know the names of victims. They were taken to Israel, presumably, and nobody knows their fate. The next day, something happened, which we do know about, a lot. Militants in Gaza, probably Islamic Jihad, abducted an Israeli soldier across the border. That’s Corporal Gilad Shalit. And that's well known; first abduction is not. Then followed the escalation of Israeli attacks on Gaza, which I don’t have to repeat. It’s reported on adequately.

The next stage was Hezbollah's abduction of two Israeli soldiers, they say on the border. Their official reason for this is that they are aiming for prisoner release. There are a few, nobody knows how many. Officially, there are three Lebanese prisoners in Israel. There's allegedly a couple hundred people missing. Who knows where they are?

But the real reason, I think it's generally agreed by analysts, is that -- I’ll read from the Financial Times, which happens to be right in front of me. “The timing and scale of its attack suggest it was partly intended to reduce the pressure on Palestinians by forcing Israel to fight on two fronts simultaneously.” David Hearst, who knows this area well, describes it, I think this morning, as a display of solidarity with suffering people, the clinching impulse."
