Most people can not look you dead in the eye while they are lying, though if they are practiced liars they might be able to.

There are lots of other clues, but I've always been too gullible to catch them!

Hi,

There is no maths formula to find out a lie. But some faces speak the gesture language that they are lieing.

There are two things to notice expressions one is the fore head and the second is around lips.

Most of all notice every time that what mean has the person in lieing with you and what he/she is going to get if they don't speak lie.

Summing up, it can only be checked by experiences and the credibility of that person.

Hope you found the answer

Some people are good at lying without showing signs of lying. Like for instance I know of a girl that lies and can look you straight in the eye while doing so.
But try this it always work. (Because people always forget the lie they told) Wait a few days and ask the question in a different way, if they have lied it would be a different answer.

Fidgeting, nervousness, talking like they are guessing what to say next, and most of the time, no eye contact. ( Please do not confuse this with shyness). Sometimes a person that has lied to you would be very afraid to approach you at all and try to avoid you at all costs. All of the above are signs of lying.

Most definately in the eyes, if they close their eyes or look up, or look side to side, they are probably lying.
If they stutter, of take obvious pauses, they are probably lying.
If they start smiling or blushing, crossing their arms and legs, and become fidgety, they are aslo probably lying.
The best way is to have a casual conversation, and observe their actions, then throw in the question you want, and see if they react differently. If you are smooth about it you can pick up on the signs of lying.

If their eyes shift to the right, or they fidget really bad. Supposedly the big fidget is messing with their ears.
