I really don't believe in the death sentance but I think someon who is a serial killer or a rapist deserves to die. I think that the police needs to stop filling the prisions with drug dealers and need to pay more attention to all of these pedophilles trying to kidnapped little kids.

I am going to be 60 years old next month, I am a grandma. I "drove" a motorcycle in the 60's, my husband & I threw a big wake for Jimi Hendrix when he died. I have done it all except I have always wanted a real tattoo ! My husband thinks I'm nuts. I am a diabetic & he's afraid it won't heal properly.

I just got my result from the SAT, but i have no idea how to calculate the score. I got 460 for critical reading, 430 for math and 470 for writing. Do you just add those together? What is the maximum score? Is it 1600?

Placing bones beneath a church or other relics was a requirement for "consecrating" the ground and the building. The Castle Church at Wittenberg in Germany, to the door of which Luther nailed his famous Ninety-five Theses, had 19,000 saintly relics! [Will Durant: The Story of Civilisation: Caesar and Christ, New York, 1944-1977, Vol. 6, p. 339] Bishops were forbidden by the second Nicaean Council in 787 to dedicate a building if no relics were present; the penalty for so doing was excommunication!

Were these ideas taken from the Bible or from paganism?

In the old legends, when Nimrod, the false "saviour" of Babylon, died, his body was torn limb from limb – part being buried one place, and part in another. When he was "resurrected", becoming the sun-god, it was taught that he was now in a different body, the members of the old body being left behind. This is in stark contrast to the death of the true Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, of Whom it was prophesied: "A bone of him shall not be broken" (John 19:36), and Who was resurrected in the true sense of the word. The resurrection of Christ resulted in an empty tomb, no parts of His body being left behind for relics!

I'm 14 (technically not a child, though still young I admit), and there are a lot of things in the world I'm not happy with. But mentioning "the world would be better if"s obviously seems naive to some people. These people would roll their eyes at me and murmur something offensive under their breath (pretending that I can't hear) at the mere mention of "can't we find a better way to solve problems than attacking each other?".

Yes, children everywhere probably wish there was no such thing as war. But aren't these children our future? Can't these children some day find a civilized way of solving issues (as opposed to chucking bombs at each other)? Following this logic, shouldn't people (especially young people) be encouraged to think of the world this way? Or is there something that I'm missing?

I am proud of any child who wants the world to change for the benefit of the all. Does that make me naive?
