We live in a very consumeristic society where we are constantly encouraged to buy new things and dispose of our old stuff. All of this waste is so bad for the environment. Does anyone out there still refurbish or barter? Any tips on creative ways to reuse old stuff?

i have a friend and something happen on my site and she does not belive me that it not me and now i find out that every one hate me and i don't kown why. they say i'm ugly and i love me dogs to much wht shold i do?

Okay, my mom won't let me do anything. She won't let me go out with friends or their houses and she won't let me go to sleepovers! I have never been to a sleepover in my life, and my mom says it's a good thing because going to someone's house is a "stupid" idea. I've only been to three of my friend's houses, my neighbor's, my friend who I only went to her house because my parents are best friends with her parents, and my other friend from school because it was for the talent show and my mom knew her. Well, I'm in the eigth grade and she still won't let me. I don't know why. I get all A's and I've never have never gotten in trouble at school. Whenever I ask her I come to her in an adult manner, and I ask her nicely and explain who's house I'm going to, help her remember that person from when I told her about her, I tell her about her parents and what they do, the date, what we will do and I also tell her one to four weeks in advance, usually two weeks.

She is four...now last week I caught her scrubbing her privates with a back scrubber....I told her that it was bad for her to do that that it could her hurt her...she said "Mommy I got to clean it really good", so I explained to her again that she need to just light wash down there with a wet rag.

Well she did it again about 3 days later, and I just thought, well she is very hard headed....there was no real damage, so I put some corn starch powder on it ...she was better by the end of the day.

Well this morning, before she went with my mother to a doctor for her ears, she told me that her privates hurt. I asked you know if it burned (she if she had a UTI) or if it itched (to see if she has a yeast infection since she is on antibiotics), she said no to everything. I asked her if someone was touching her and she saif yes, that a boy at her school was, and he would hurt her if she told.
My mom does not believe her, she said not to say anything, but I am taking her to the doctor

We have just moved into a new area and have noticed that the water now is hard (if you know what I mean) even when you shave with hot water it carries no comfort to the face for wet shaving. Does anyone know how to soften the water? At least then I can have a good shave!!!!!

last night i had a really strange experience i was having many nightmares on the same night so i got crazy and tried to wake up but i couldnt move for like 10 sec when i finale opened my eyes i saw on the wall many diabolic shadows and when i started moving thay all dissapeared

I am confused... this is NOT an evolution/creationism question so if that is ur thing don't bug me... my ? is Why are the kangaroos so very different from their ancestors. Generally speaking we are like apes, so u can see the supposed flow from ape to man. However to go from 4 legged galloping carnivore to 2 legged hopping herbivore seems not to flow as neatly. Does anyone ACTUALLY know anything about this?? Again please, I really just want to see if I can get an intelligent answer not sarcasim, wit or mean responses. THANKS
