I just bought a new pair and hate the new jean feel. I want them to be soft and worn-in and fit well. Someone suggested I put them in the dryer with a few medium sized rocks for a while. Any other better ideas other then wearing them for a whole week?

an elderly friend has been told by acquaintance that he was arested for "attempted murder" for pointing a gun at a neighbor. Supposedly police arrived on the property w/ guns drawn, made the arrest, locked the house but did not search for a weapon. Of course he says there is no gun and none pointed at anyone - even if there was, would this legally be called "attempted murder" - or in reality, would it be some form of assault w/ deadly weapon? I think my elderly friends are being lied to. This is in the state of Washington.

I'm just curious if Jesus or his followers were more likely to be quoted as declaring wars in the name of God. I know that one of the 10 commandments is Thou shalt not kill, but I assume there are some examples of wars being declared in the Bible.
