We all know that Wal*Mart is dubbed as being "evil" by many people out there because of the disturbing mistreatment of outsourced employees around the world. Wal*Mart is notorious for outsourcing jobs all the way to China, Ecuador, and etc. (all being third-world countries with high poverty rates). Wal*Mart hires people there to work for incredibly low wages (usu. US$1.00 per article of clothing made, up to hourly wages of usu. US$1.00 - $4.50.). This disturbing trend has many concerned of not only the mistreatment of the hired employees due to poor working conditions and under-the-table wages, but of the potential (and execution) of extreme global monopolization.

I know about Wal*Mart and its "evil" thirst for power and money... but I've also heard about other retailers... from Target to JC Penney. I'm looking for a list of "evil" retailers (with sources, preferrably) and the behaviors they initiated which characterized such names attributed to them. Can anyone help me? Thanks. :-)

The situation is this: a co-worker was telling us that she was working out at the gym alone and a guy came up to her and started talking about how lucky her man was because she has such a good body. He went on to say that if she was with HIM he wouldn't let her out of his sight. A couple of the women at work said that they would have been insulted by a man who felt he could just walk up to you and say such things.
What's your opinion?

When Brittney Spears married Kevin Federline did she have him sign a Pre-Nup? I'm just curious because I read that he is applying for tons of credit cards and is taking a loan because he figures Brittney will just pay for it since they are still married. Philippines is considered as an emerging sports powerhouse in Asia. It has won a lot of international sporting events, and has done very well in past international sporting events.

The Philippines already got 2 silver medals and 7 bronze medals. It has already won 2 gold medals in taekwondo and bowling in the Olympics, but these sports were still considered as demonstrations sports then.

Will the Philippines win its first Olympic gold medal in 2008 considering that billiards and bowling will now be included in list of Olympic sports.
