I'm spending a couple weeks in London this winter. I know the drinking age is lower there than here, but is my American citizenship going to affect that? Thanks.

way. Do European kids go through the same phase where they only want to disagree and don't care what the truth is?
I would really like to know.

I want to go to Oxford or Cambridge; however, my parents cannot afford the tuition and the living costs. It's simply impossible. I know I can rely on loans. They don't even expect you to pay anything till you find a nice job. I don't live in England and what I was wondering is that because of England's horrible job opportunities, am I EVER going to be able to find a job? I am really worried. it's risky. I want to major in music, philosophy or English. That makes everything worse. Is an Oxford diploma going to find me a job pretty quickly?

I would appreciate ANY information. Thanks in advance.

Hey all, I'm from Edinburgh and have been considering moving to Leeds, my fiance is from Leeds but has been living in Edinburgh for the past 7 years so things may have changed since then. We went to visit his family a few months back but it was just for a few days and I loved it there but didn't really get to see much. Can anyone give me any advice to help make our decision please?
Thank You!

Because of my travelling phobia, the furthest I have ever been from from Norfolk UK, is Belgium on a booze trip 3 years ago with my Dad. I always imagine USA to have lots of very large cars and the towns and cities are spread huge distances apart. Africa, I always think have dry landscape and all the people are beautiful & tall. Australia, macho men, loads of farms and very expensive cities. China, lots of people, generous with very good manners. Am I anywhere near the truth?
