I am a first year communication disorders grad student and I am going to be studying abroad next fall in England. I will be in a town called Walsal for a month. Im not familiar with the area and really want to know some great places to explore. I love museums, art, music....I love it all! I can't wait to go but I want to have some ideas of places to go so I can make the most out of my trip! If anyone knows of the town or anything of particular interest nearby that I should visit please let me know! (and guys - not Big Ben...its a given that Im gonna go to places like that! haha)

Where are the main attractions and what are the hotels near the attractions? We would like to stay somewhere nice but location is important as we will be car-less! Thank you.

How have you found your journey home? Is it chaos, or organised chaos? Is it just the british transport system which can't cope? Why has the roof blown off london bridge station?!

I am English and would like to know how easy it would be to move to one of the Hebridean islands, and whether or not I'd be welcomed? I'm after a small place and a quiet, simple life.

Is property generally cheap or expensive? What is quality of life like?

Thank you very much!

In which neighbourhoods around London would most single people under the age of 30, who went to 'publ;ic schools', are university educated, and earn middle to upper-middle class incomes call home? Now I'm not talking about the super rich here, I'm looking more for residential areas in and around London where a large percentage of the population is young, single, well-educated, and professional. Which London neighbourhoods are especially noted for this demographic? Thanks.
