yes i lived in maryhill,and my friend and I would go to corner shop for our sweets, before going to school, we would sometimes take that long to choose what we wanted,and would have to run like mad before the bell rang,oh those were the days, lol, thankyou for taking me down memory lane, its cheered me up,lol

The nuns hitting me with the belt across the back of the knees.
The day someone put a 'mucky pup' (fake crap) on Mrs Cunningham's chair. When our art teacher took a flippy and attacked a girl in the corridor. When another art teacher was caught having an affair with a classmate of mine. When two teachers were having an affair, the pursuing punch up with hubby (also a teach at our school) and love rat. Boy what a day that was.

i remember waiting with all the other kids at school to watch some king (sweden)? drive past so as we could all wave little
flags at him. For talking in line me and other kids were made to face the other way when he drove past.
