How have you found your journey home? Is it chaos, or organised chaos? Is it just the british transport system which can't cope? Why has the roof blown off london bridge station?!

We can't seem to cope with any unusual weather. High winds, snow, high rainfall, hot/long summer. The transport system over here just can't cope with extreme conditions. Leaves on the railway tracks, rails melting in the summer, and now these strong winds.
It's pathetic how our government has let our public transport systems fall into disarray.
I'm sure other countries transport systems cope better than ours. The ghan (in australia which goes from adelaide up to darwin through the centre) seems to manage fine and the temperatures there reach much higher levels than here. Yet they don't seem to have to put up with constant delays and cancellations.
My tv aerial has blown off the roof as well today, so not in the best of moods...

Alot of the probs is down to Network Rail putting a 50mph speed limit on all fast lines today. That and afew unsafe building has caused the major probs.
