Just got my renewed passport (Australian) today and it has a microchip embedded in it. What are other countries like. Also when i got photo done I was not allowed to smile or have my teeth shown is this same with other countries?

Do your 4oz. containers have to be plastic only?? Wondering because I do have some MAC make-up (liquid foundation) that is in a glass bottle. Please help, I am flying out on Friday, and if I can't take plastic, I need to hurry up and buy something new.... Thanks in advance.

Does anybody know of a good luggage carrier to carry suitcases and whatnot for a 1,000 mile trip this summer? We used to have a Sears X-Cargo (i think that's what it was called) that did the trick. It had enough to hold about 8-10 decent sized suitcases. I'm looking for something similar that doesn't need a rack on the roof. It will be used on a Hyundai Elantra. Please point me in the right direction. I can't find anything useful on the web!

okay im a 20 year old natural born citizen and i live on my own now with my boyfriend, but i guess its new to me.... but ummmm how much does it cost to renew my passport???? And what is the process? I don't like flying. Although I have been told by many nay-sayers that trying to escape a rapidly descending commercial airliner would be fruitless I would still like the option. Is there anything stopping me from bringing a parachute on board into the passenger cabin- issues such as weight, international law etc....?

My two brothers and I are flying to turkey from London to attend the ANZAC dawn service ceremonies in Gallipoli. One of my brothers is in the Australian army, currently serving in Iraq. He will be meeting with me and my other brother in London before heading to Turkey. Do we need to apply for Visa's or can we just get one on arrival? I'm concerned as to whether my brother in the army will be able to get issued a visa before our planned trip. I've heard that Aussies and Canadians don't need visas.Can anyone out there help us? It would be muchly appreciated..

Instead of a passport? Someone at the Canadian consulate in chicago told me that canadian citizens residing in the us that go back and visit canada are ok for travel and don't need a passport if they have a permanent resident card? Is that true? She said that only certain airlines accept that? Which ones?

Hi, I'm moving from SF to NYC.
My stuff is not that much to use the moving company, I won't bring any furniture with me to NYC. But It's too much to pack it all in suitcases, and the airport has a weight limit.
Is there any other options?
