no. the TSA agents will cut it off so they can search your luggage. my best friend is a baggage handler for Alaska Airlines, and he has seen several locks.. small.. big.. and very expensive... get cut off.

Many times your luggage will be hand checked by the TSA. TSA has keys for most small luggage locks, but you will be asked to stand in another line to have the baggage checked if you have a lock on your bag. In the long run, it is not worth it. The small luggage locks take no time to break and anyone who wants to get into your luggage will. Your best bet is to not put anything of value in your luggage.

You should put a lock, but it is forbidden in the US and EU. When you are coming from a country that doesn't care about this, then you should put a lock on. Make sure you always have your keys with you, because in case if they ask you to open the luggage, then what are you going to do if you don't have the keys?

particular, you need to declare it on the counter, have it in a locked confusing area field authorized for airline use, and the ammunition must be seperate in its very own field. you would be asked to instruct it to the TSA to instruct that's unloaded, then you definately lock it back up in front of them and supply the bag at present day to TSA. playstation - i'm uncertain why all and sundry is asserting no, I do it each and all of the time. perhaps they're questioning save on bag, that's a widespread on the spot arrest. LOL Checked luggage you're nice, in simple terms make helpful the case is airline authorized, you won't be in a position to easily bung it into any previous element that locks.

we used zip tags. you know the white plastic ones you can buy at the hardware store. We pulled the zippers together and threaded the zip tags as tight as possible. it worked.
