Aside from clothes and cleaning things (like toothbrush/toothpaste/shampoo), school books if they are required, maybe book to read or walkman to listen to.

I also took a four day trip to Boston a few years ago. Take a good comfortable pair of walking shoes. You will walk a lot on the city streets following the Freedom Trail. The Freedom Trail is a red line that will take you to the most famous historic landmarks in Boston. Take a warm coat as it can get cold this time of year and some rain gear. I would also pack a hat and some gloves. You will have a wonderful time. If you get a chance take the train to Salem. It is only a short train ride and very inexpensive. They also have a Freedom Trail of sorts that will walk you around the Salem Witch Trial historic sights.

Have fun!
