I love going to South Beach. Its not too expensive to get there and I can stay in a cheap hotel because I only end up going there to shower.

I want to take my mom with me to New York a week before christmas, the only thing is she can't walk very far, she uses a scooter. I really want to take her but I don't know how to travel with her. She is 71 years old, diabetic; but I really want to do something with her and I know she and I would love this trip. Can anyone tell me what steps to take so we can go on this trip?

I have looked on all sites, and ebay is by far the cheapest for the tickets. In the uppers, you can get 2 tickets for $400 no service or other fees. $600 gets you pretty decent good seats.

maybe there are other seniors out there who like myself like to go south in the winter for a couple of weeks. Now i prefer the all-inclusive trips as they solve so many problems when u pay the full amount of air+hotl+meals up front and need only worry about incidental expenses (gifts, etc) on your vacation. However, I am finding it impossible to find an all-inclusive trip anywhere that does not punish me financially for travrelling alone. For instance an all inclusive week advertised for $1000.00 per person in the Domincan republic, cuba, mexico, jamacia, etc, etc all have what they quaintly call a single suppliment that raises that $1000 to about $1400 or $1500 on average. Now we seniors eat less, drink less and take no more room space then a couple so why are we saddled with these additional charges. maybe somebody else has found this gouging annoying and has found a way around it if so i would love to hear from you.

Why is it the price of holidays go up during school holidays, the hotels do not seem to benefit from the higher prices if anything the more people travelling the lower the price, now why is it our Goverment has done nothing to stop these travel agents from upping the prices, my holiday at the end of October cost over £200 more because I work at a school and I did not have any children with me and there were NO children staying at the Hotel, is it not time our Goverment stamped this sort of practise out.

I have a friend Renee who told me back in the 70’s when she was a young woman, she would drive cars cross country because the owners would move and pay her to drive their cars to their location. Does anybody know about that? Does anyone know if that still goes on now? If it does, is there a specific website I can go to? I am very interested in taking a road trip but don’t feel like driving to my vacation destination and drive back to my location. I want to drive one way and fly back, or vice versa and renting a car is way too expensive.
