I'm planning a trip to Vancouver in July/Aug. And I'm wondering if I should visit Seattle too since I'll be close. Have you ever done this? Or will it be to much to try to fit in? I have about 9 days for the trip.

I like: Murray, Cadiz, Eddyville, Mayfield, this is the far southwest part of the state.

Everything else sucks! I should know, I have lived in western, central, and northern Kentucky. I have to say, I've met friendlier people in New York City than I have in Kentucky. I've lived in four different towns in KY, and have been to 94 of the 120 counties, from Fulton in the west to Floyd and Boyd in the east. One of the towns I've lived in is Louisville. Kentucky also has too much white trash for my taste; most of those types are pretty rude.

VIVA LA TEXAS! I love Texas! I'm a pretty friendly person, and people down there are also friendly, so I think it's a great state! Plus, it really is beautiful.

In Europe, tourism abroad is quite common place. Heavily discounted flights and holiday packages make it possible for the working class families to see the world. Spain is a popular destination for the English, Portugal is a popular destination of the English and the Germans. On the other hand, Portuguese, Spanish Italians and French, for example like to visit the colder countries of the north of Europe and holidays beyond Europe are becoming more common place to all Europeans. A return 15-hour flight from London to the exotic lands of Manila in the Philippines or Hong Kong cost a mere £450 at the most. With the advent of the giant AirBus 380, 4 times the passenger capacity of the B747, the cost of flying is likely to decrease even further. DISCUSS. Thanks

Thinking of going to Maldives when is the best time to go and which is the best Island to stay on.Would like over the water accommodation. Is it expensive and what is there to do. Do the staff speak English and how long is the flying time to get there? Were they hit by the Tsunami?

I'm doing a variety of things and going to a variety of places: Glacier Bay, Denali, environmental lectures, spending a day with the natives, boating(whales *fingers crossed* and lots of glaciers), white water rafting, and more! I already know about the bugs, and the frequent rainfall but if theres something that wouldnt be in a guide then I would be really excited to know!
