2nd time asking this question.only one answer the last time,i need to know can you go direct from dublin(ireland)by ferry to portugal,please please please does anyone know,iive googled and checked the web to no avail,please does anyone know

i know flying is cheaper etc but im terrified to fly thats why i want to sail

OK the only way you are going to get to portugal on a boat is first go to portsmouth , then you have to sail to spain , hang about for a day or so and then sail to northen portugal. This will cost you an arm and a leg! If you are scared of flying, why dont you consider the train, it looks ok, heres a link i found for you.

You might want to try a combination of sailing and travelling by train. Below is a really good website that explores the options.

You do realise sailing is more dangerous than flying?

The most dangerous part of your trip will be any section in which you travel by car.

hello there, this is the ferries you have from Dublin.
and if you check there is no ferries from Dublin to Portugal.

rosslare to plymouth....plymouth santander....santander portugal...train or car.there are absoluteley no ferries direct. sorry.but fly drive would be your best bet
