I like: Murray, Cadiz, Eddyville, Mayfield, this is the far southwest part of the state.

Everything else sucks! I should know, I have lived in western, central, and northern Kentucky. I have to say, I've met friendlier people in New York City than I have in Kentucky. I've lived in four different towns in KY, and have been to 94 of the 120 counties, from Fulton in the west to Floyd and Boyd in the east. One of the towns I've lived in is Louisville. Kentucky also has too much white trash for my taste; most of those types are pretty rude.

VIVA LA TEXAS! I love Texas! I'm a pretty friendly person, and people down there are also friendly, so I think it's a great state! Plus, it really is beautiful.

I have lived in Kentucky my entire life. Although I could find more glamorous and exciting places to live, and I hope to one day soon, I find Kentucky to be a very beautiful state. As far as I am concerned, some of the nicest and most friendly people I have met are from KY. Yes, there are redneck, trashy, and rude people that are here. So what? You can find those people anywhere you go or live. It takes all different types of people to make the world go 'round. There are very beautiful people that are here as well. I have a friend from Europe who has decided to stay in the United States to work for the UN in New York and he will tell anyone that the most beautiful women he has ever seen in his life have come from KY. And he has travelled and lived all over the world. Go Kentucky!!!!

I guess I was just lucky where I lived. Owensboro, KY, was very open and friendly when I worked there for five years. The schools were good and the weather offered enough of a seasonal change to make life interesting. They did do some weird things with property taxes that I didn't care for but other than that I don't recall the people being unfriendly. I didn't care for the toll roads!
