I am planning to go on a wolrd trip for a year. I am based in Ireland. I am particularly interested in China, Thailand, New Zealand, Canada and South America. I am planning to work for a few months in one place. Does anyone have any must-see/visit countries/cities that I should include in this trip (based on experience). Also looking for recommendations for good info websites.

I have a felony charge that's pending. In 6 months, it will be dropped and expunged. Can I get a passport if the charge is pending, or do I have to wait until the charge is dropped?
